Avec plus de vingt ans de carrière, plusieurs projets musicaux et cinq albums solo à son actif, l’auteur-compositeur-interprète canadien Joseph Edgar (Acadien originaire de Moncton) a de la créativité à revendre ! Moins de deux ans après la parution de son plus récent opus RICOCHETS l’artiste qui qualifie son univers rock folk de « chanson swamp » (mélange de blues, de rock, de country, de boogie, et de zydeco) nous revient avec JUSQU’AU BOUTTE et ENTRE LES CRAQUES, deux nouvelles pièces offertes sous forme d’un 45 tours en exclusivité numérique, 1er d’une série à paraître dans la prochaine année. En spectacle pour la première fois en Europe depuis 2015, le chanteur-guitariste est accompagné de deux excellents musiciens très impliqués sur la scène québécoise, le batteur Jonathan Lafrance et le bassiste Jocelyn Gagné. Dynamique et tout en nuances, le spectacle propose une incursion dans l’univers unique d’un artiste coloré qui livre sa musique avec une énergie venue directement des tripes et qui sait tisser rapidement un lien très fort avec son public.

With a career spanning more than twenty years, several musical projects and five solo albums to his credit, French Canadian East Coast singer-songwriter Joseph Edgar(Acadian from Moncton) is firing on all creative cylinders! Less than two years after the release of his most recent opus RICOCHETS, the artist who likes to describe his rock folk universe as “swamp song” is back with the new titles JUSQU’AU BOUTTE and ENTRE LES CRAQUES, both offered on an exclusively digital 45-rpm, 1st of a series to be launched over the next year. Touring for the first time in Europe since 2015, the singer-guitarist hits the stage with two excellent musicians very much involved on the Quebec music scene, drummer Jonathan Lafrance and bass player Jocelyn Gagné. Very dynamic and quite nuanced, the show proposes a journey trough the peculiar universe of a colourful artist delivering its music with an energy coming straight from his guts and quickly weaving a very strong link with his audience.
